RIP Dell Inspiron 1100

24 07 2007

Farewell old faithful. I’ve had ya for all these years and now we part ways. Good times and bad times, we’ve rolled through thick and thin. The lack of a full-time job and the desperate need of a laptop by a friend has led us away from each other. Yes. This laptop has been sold for an unbelievable low price of $200 complete with all the original cds.

14″ TFT XGA LCD screen
Intel Celeron 2.0 GHz
256MB RAM
Intel Integrated Video Graphics Adapter
30GB HDD
S-Video/VGA dual port

Everything else is standard like modem and ethernet etc etc. The battery was relatively new because I barely used it and almost always had it out of my laptop when in use at home. All to help out a friend in need. The only problem was a vertical 1″ dead pixel line in the corner of the left side of the screen.šŸ˜¦ At least it’s being used to it’s full potential now.

EDIT: This is not actually a RIP but more of a goodbye. Still feels like the former though.
