Left v Right brain test!

16 10 2007

Alright. This is completely psychedelic. Just noticed this while browsing for left and right brain patterns for learning. Apparently, if you can see the figure in the image spinning clockwise, you are right-brained and the figure is spinning counter-clockwise, you are left-brained. I had taken a few other tests and I usually come out as 50-50 between my left and right brain usage with a tendency to be slightly biased towards left.

As for the image below, the first time I saw it, it was counter-clockwise (or anti-clockwise for our international viewers) but after mentioning it to the girlfriend, it’s been consistently clockwise which had started to alarm me. Being a guy, I’d like to think the figure should be spinning counter-clockwise but that being said, the figure spins both ways now. When I stare at it long enough, it goes clockwise and if I’m typing or reading stuff, I can see from the corner of my eye that the figure decides to change direction upon which if I do look at the image, it’s spinning counter and then all of a sudden it makes a reversal.

So which side of the brain do you use most?

Some stuff about being a left-brained v right-brained person.

Right Brain vs Left Brain

Oh, come on. The GIF is a cheat. The spinning figure switches her foot at intervals and spins in the opposite direction.
