“Life was his sentence. Life is what he got back.” Sure you hear that a lot when you watch the hit NBC show, LIFE, but in my opinion, the main character’s getting more than an ordinary life back. He gets a few million bucks in lawsuits for wrongful imprisonment, a Bentley Continental GT coupe (which gets crushed by accident), and a cornucopia of strippers every night between cases. In the last episode (#4) of Life, Detective Charlie Crew starts off his day with his surprisingly hot attorney, Constance Griffiths (Brooke Langton) walking in on him lying on the floor surrounded by girls in various states of undress. Cool LIFEstyle.
Well once the girls Crew picked up the previous night leave, it’s Constance and Charlie sitting on the steps with the lawyer holding the detective’s hands. It was rather apparent that she has the hots for the odd-ball very plain looking detective (other than his flaming red hair) while most of us around the world are guessing why there’s any chemistry at all. And this whole time Charlie’s trying to uncover the real culprits behind his false life term sentence.
So alright back to the last episode. Charlie visits Constance and meets one of her clients who tells him that she’s not charging him anything and then asks him if he got a deal like that from her. No response from Charlie. Then in the end of the show, she tries to make out with Charlie. Well it’s ok I guess but probably not if you noticed the ring on her finger right in the beginning when she holds Charlie’s hands (below) and then later when she’s holding the coffee mug (above). Freeze moment. This is it. I’ve uncovered the real culprit or well just making an uneducated guess. The real murderer could possibly be Constance Griffith’s mysterious husband cuz we have no clue who the heck he is so I guess he could be anybody but we can’t rule him out as the murderer.
Verdict: The not so good-looking Detective Charlie Crew is da pimp! Able to bring over a million chix home and seduce a great-looking married lawyer. The show’s still looking great!
